THE BREWERY TAP IS PREDOMINANTLY AN LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans) VENUE.
IF YOU ARE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THIS, WE SUGGEST VISITING ANOTHER VENUE.

Nightsafe “Pubwatch” – The Brewery Tap is a member of the Night safe scheme and supports the “banned from one, banned from all” premise.

Protection of Minors & ID – We operate a ‘Challenge 25′ policy; anyone who appears to be under the age of 25 years old must produce his or her idendification to gain entry to this bar.

Acceptable Identification – Photographic Drivers License or Valid UK Passport

Binge Drinking & Under The Influence – We operate several drink promotions, but do not condone binge drinking. Our Staff are trained to refuse to sell drinks to people who appear drunk. Anyone who appears drunk will be asked to leave the premises in accordance with the Licensing Act 2003.

Drugs – Our venue management and door supervisors take a zero tolerance approach to drug use. Under no circumstances will they permit the use, carrying, or selling of any controlled substances within the venue. Any person breaching this rule will be asked to leave the venue and any supporting CCTV footage will be handed to the police.

Violence – Violence or rowdy customers will be refused entry to the venue in accordance with the Licensing Act 2003. Persons performing a violent or rowdy act will be asked to leave the premises and may be reported to the local police along with all CCTV footage.

Homophobic / Transphobic Behaviour – This venue operates a strict zero tolerance policy against verbal/physical abuse. Anyone abusing the LGBT community will be reported to the police.

Search Policy – Door Supervisors will make random searches of customers and their belongings upon entering our premises. In the case of females, a female member of the security team will undertake this.

Door supervisors are SIA Registered.

CCTV -  CCTV is used inside and outside the venue to ensure the safety and security of our customers and staff at all times.

The management reserve the right to refuse entry for the following clothing:

Tracksuit Tops / Bottoms / Hoodies / Caps / Work Wear.
